"YES, I know, mom. I have already made friends. All my neighbours are friendly," Alivia told her mother.
Alivia, a 19 year old college student, has moved to Seattle. She continued her studies in Seattle and rented a big, ancient house there. She rented the house from an old woman who lived next to her.
After talking to her mother, Alivia went upstairs. She opened her room door and laid on the bed. She switched off the table-lamp and was ready to sleep. It was already 12:45 a.m. The full moon shined brightly and the house was quiet. Alivia closed her eyes, ready to sleep but she couldn’t. she heard some noises in her room. Slowly she turned her head and looked at the windows. Alivia wanted to scream, but her voice couldn’t come out from her throat. Guess what? She saw a boy around her age in her room. But, she still could see the windows through the boy’s body. Mist surrounded the boy’s body. Alivia was stunned.
" Hi," said the boy.
Alivia didn’t responded to him. She kept quiet. But, she noticed something about him, he’s good looking, but he looked upset.
" My name is Bennett. Sorry because I disturb you," said the boy again. He walked… no! He’s not walking! But he was floating! Nearer, and nearer to Alivia. Alivia’s face was paled.
" I’m a ghost from the nineteenth century. I need your help," said Bennett.
" You… what?" Alivia shook her head. Unbelievable.
" I’m not lying to you. Please, I need your help. Only you can help me!"
Alivia was stunned. Can I believe this ghost? How can I see a ghost? she thought.
" Is your grandmother’s name Elizabeth Dawson?" asked Bennett.
Slowly, Alivia nodded.
" Did your grandmother live in Seattle before?" asked Bennett again. Alivia nodded.
Why is he asking about my grandmother?’
" Good. Thank God I found you," said Bennett happily.
Alivia wanted to say something, but she was really afraid.
" Do you want to say something?" asked Bennett politely. He looked at Alivia’s face. She kept trembling like a leaf.
" Er… Mr. Bennett?" Alivia’s voice came out from her throat. Alivia looked at the boy.
" Why do you keep asking about my grandmother?"
Bennett smiled, and said, " Because she was my lover fifty years ago."
What? Why did he say that? Is it true?
" It’s true. I was supposed to be her fiancée that day. But, Elizabeth’s uncle ruined everything. I was killed by your grandmother’s uncle!" said Bennett. He looked so angry.
Alivia was stunned at the anger. She didn’t know why, but, she was attracted to him. Do I have a crush on Bennett?
" I will tell you the whole story, then you must help me."
" Bennett, are you ready?" Bennett’s mother asked him. Bennett tied his bow and turned his head to his mother.
" Yes, I’m ready," said Bennett. He looked really happy. He entered the car and waited for his driver. His parents were with him too. They will go to Bennett’s lover’s house to meet Elizabeth’s parents. A few minutes passed, but his driver didn’t show up.
" Where’s Sean? We’re late already," asked Mr. Rainsworth. He looked at his watch. When Mr. Rainsworth talked to his wife, Bennett came out from the car. His mother noticed him.
" Where do you want to go?" asked her mother.
" To look for Sean," he answered it.
Bennett went to the garden at the back of his house. He thought Sean was there, but he was wrong. Sean was not there. Bennett walked around the garden. Suddenly, he heard a loud sound coming from the front of his house. Bennett ran to the front.
" No!" he screamed.
The car had exploded badly. Fire burned the car. He couldn’t see anything. His parents were still in the car. Were they… dead? Bennett hoped he was wrong.
" Do you want to follow your parents’ footstep too?" asked someone behind him. Bennett turned his head. He was shocked!
" You?" he yelled. The man smiled cynically.
" Why? Don’t you believe it?"
He was Michael. Elizabeth’s uncle. He always tried to stop Bennett’s engagement with his niece. Michael really hated the Rainsworth family. He said the Rainsworth were a bad family. But, the truth was, Michael had a mental problem. He thought Bennett’s father was his friend that cheated him before.
" What have you done?" yelled Bennett. He became angry. He stood up in front of Michael. Michael laughed merrily.
" I will kill you now. You’re not allowed to marry to Elizabeth." Michael pulled out a gun from his back. Bennett became more angry.
" You!" He ran to Michael, ready to push him but he didn’t have the opportunity. Bennett laid on the grass. His white suit turned red. He was dying. He could see Michael’s merry face. Slowly, he closed his eyes. He was dead.
Tears flowed from Alivia’s eyes. Although Bennett was a ghost, but she could feel his sadness.
" Can you help me?" Bennett make the request again. Alivia looked at him. She couldn’t see Bennett clearly because her tears had blurred her sight.
" What can I do to help you?"
Bennett smiled. " Come with me."
" To where?"
" We will go to my house. I want you to give my treasure box to your grandmother. The box contained letters that I want to give to Elizabeth during our wedding," explained Bennett. Alivia nodded.
Alivia came out from her house, followed Bennett to the forest nearby. It was dark and cold inside the forest. Alivia walked on a path while Bennett flew beside her. It was a long journey.
Bennett stopped. So did Alivia. She looked in front of her. There was a big, ruined mansion. Alivia followed Bennett to an oak tree at the mansion’s garden.
" Dig!" Bennett told Alivia. Alivia nodded but she couldn’t think clearly. She started to dig the soil. Finally, she found the box. It was old, but it still looked beautiful. Alivia opened the box.
" Wow! How lovely."
There was a diamond pendant in the box. But, Alivia couldn’t see any letters in the Bennett. She looked at Bennett.
" Where are the letters?" she asked.
" There are no letters. Sorry because I lied to you. I want you to have the pendant. It’s yours now. Not your grandmother’s. I’m happy because I’ve met you. Your face looks exactly like Elizabeth’s. Being with you tonight make me feel that Elizabeth is here too. Thanks, Alivia… and live well," said Bennett. He kissed Alivia’s forehead. Alivia felt a brush of cold air on her forehead. She wanted to cry.
Tears flowed from Alivia’s eyes. She looked at Bennett’s sad face. She wanted to beg him not to go, but she couldn’t. How can I fall for him just in one night?
" Live well, Alivia. Thanks for everything," said Bennett again. Alivia put her hands on her face. Her tears flowed rapidly.
With that word, Bennett was gone. Alivia kept crying.
A month had passed after the night. Alivia kept remembering Bennett. The pendant that Bennett had given to her, she kept it properly. If she missed Bennet, she would looked at the pendant.
It’s time to go back home. Alivia kept all her books in her locker. She had to hurry. Her mother wanted to come to her house today.
" Ops! Sorry," said Alivia. She had knocked someone down when she wanted to turn to her right.
" No, it’s okay," said the boy. Alivia looked at the boy’s face. No! It can’t be!
" Err… miss? Is there something on my face?" asked the boy. He felt weird when he saw astonishment on the girl’s face.
Alivia shocked. " So… sorry." She shook her head slowly. The boy smiled at her. He pulled his hand out towards Alivia.
" Hi! I’m new student here. My name is Bennett Adams. Nice to meet you."
Her tears wanted to flow. Alivia shook hands with Bennett. " Alivia. Nice to meet you too," she said, still in a daze.
Bennett, is this boy is you? Alivia walked slowly towards the carpark. Something in the fields caught her eye.
From far away, she could see Bennett Rainsworth smiling and waving at her.

Desakan daripada Sofea membawanya ke Kelab Bola

Tetapi hanya seorang sahaja Prince Charming yang
dicari-carinya. Namun, untuk mencari Prince
Charming bukanlah mudah, namun dia yakin, antara
mereka, pasti salah seorang adalah penyelamatnya.
Orang tu pun satu! Dah selamatkan nyawa orang,
tak reti-reti ke nak munculkan diri? Bukan ke
lagi senang kalau datang berdiri depan aku dan
cakap, Sayalah yang selamatkan awak daripada
kena langgar semalam. Finish! Tak adalah nak
panjangkan cerita sampai beratus muka surat
semata-mata nak cari Prince Charming!
